We landed in Nanning in the late afternoon on the 25th. After the infamous "ham sandwich incident" we went by bus to the Majestic Hotel for check-in, and then immediately to the Civil Affairs office to accept the babies.

On the 27th, we went to see the Nanning Social Welfare Institute, originally home to 3 of the girls in our group. Afterwards, we stopped at Qingxiu Shan ("Elegant Green Mountain Park").
